How do I get to H2O Excursions and where do I park?H2O Excursions is conveniently located at Village West Marina and Resort at 6649 Embarcadero Drive, Stockton, CA 95219. There is free guest parking in both lots at the marina as well as free street parking is available along Benjamin Holt/Embarcadero Drive. Upon arrival, proceed to the H2O Excursions Office located in Suite 140.

What is a release of liability agreement?The General Release is a broad release from all possible civil claims resulting from a dispute. Since the Releasing Party is giving up all known and unknown claims against the other party, care should be taken to ensure that the releasing party is fully aware of their rights.

What is the minimum age to rent at H2O Excursions?Pontoon Boat- 25+ (must have a valid driver’s license) Sea-Doo (personal watercraft) - 21+ (must have a valid driver’s license) Captained Charter - 18+ Kayaks/Stand Up Paddleboards (SUPs)/Coconut Boats - 18+ to enter into rental agreement Kids under the age of 18 cannot paddle alone without someone over 18 in the group. Kids age 14 and older can paddle their own kayak or paddleboard if accompanied by a parent or guardian in another kayak or on another paddleboard. Kids under the age of 14 can ride in a double kayak only if accompanied by an adult; there is no age limit, and it is up to the parent’s/guardian’s discretion.

How early should I arrive for my rental?Please refer to the recommended arrival schedule below: -KAYAKS/SUPS/HYDROBIKES/CAPTAINED CHARTERS: 20 MINUTES PRIOR TO RESERVATION START TIME. -PONTOON BOATS/JET SKIS/COCUNUT BOATS: 30 MINUTES PRIOR TO RESERVATION START TIME. Early arrival allows time to receive your safety briefing, complete safety waivers/rental documents, and get fitted for your Personal Flotation Device. ARRIVING AT THE START TIME OF YOUR RESERVATION OR LATE ARRIVAL DOES NOT EQUAL EXTENDED TIME. Upon your arrival, we still need to conduct our check-in procedures.

What is your Cancellation and Reschedule Policy?If you need to cancel your reservation, the following policies apply: 31+ Days prior to booked date - 100% refund (less processing fees) 7-30 Days prior to booked date - 50% refund (less processing fees) Less than 7 days - loss of payment Any loss of payment may be used on another booking scheduled within the current year rental season. If you need to reschedule, the following policies apply: We allow 1 (one) reservation date change without a fee (based on availability). The date must be within the current year rental season. Additional reservation changes will incur a $100 change fee for each reservation change request (based on availability). The date must be within the current year rental season. If you are a No-Show for your scheduled departure date and time, you will forfeit your entire payment and will not be able to reschedule with a reschedule fee. If the rental site is closed due to unsafe weather conditions on the day of your reservation, we will notify you to reschedule for the next available date.

I returned my rental items early, do I get a refund or credit?No credit or partial credit will be provided for returning a rental item to the dock before the scheduled return time. If you return an item early, there is no credit for unused time.

What happens if the weather is bad?If the weather becomes inclement, the excursion will be rescheduled for the next available date provided by H2O Excursions. If their heavy rain, gale force winds, or United States Coast Guard craft advisories you will be notified via phone, email or text on the day of your reservation. Charters are cancelled at the dock staff’s discretion and will be rescheduled.

What should we pack?Make sure to bring a wonderful attitude. Please wear comfortable clothes and dress for the weather. Depending on the time of year, it is often cooler out on the water so we suggest you bring a jacket. For kayaking and paddle boarding, come prepared to get a little wet from the drip of your paddle and be out in the sun. Lightweight, synthetic clothing is best. Sunscreen, sunglasses, camera, beach towels or blankets and hats, are also recommended, depending on your type of rental. No alcohol allowed on kayaks, paddleboards, and electric hydrobikes.

Are your rentals ADA accessible?Our non-captained pontoon boat rentals have a port wheelchair access gate. All other rentals are not ADA accessible. We are actively working to make all excursions accessible.

Are dogs allowed?Pontoons, kayaks, SUPS, and Electric Hydrobikes are dog friendly. Dogs must be well behaved and leashed. Owners are responsible for bringing their dog’s life jacket. Any damages or extra cleaning will incur a fee at the owner’s expense. If a dog is hostile to the staff or other guests, you will be asked to leave and forfeit your rental and payment.

How old do I need to be to rent a pontoon?You must be 25 years old or older, with a valid credit card and a valid driver’s license to rent any of our motorized boats. The designated driver(s) named on your rental agreement are the only persons who may drive the motorized boats. No exceptions will be made to this policy.

Is there a security deposit to rent a pontoon?No deposit is required! WE DO REQUIRE that you purchase our third party VQuip insurance on all of our Pontoon, Jet Ski and Coconut Boat rentals. We do not accept personal auto/boat insurance policies at this time.

Is there a cleaning fee?All rental boats need to be returned the way they were delivered to you. Free of trash (disposed in a trash bag), debris, and dog hair. If not, a $200.00 cleaning fee will be incurred and taken out of the security deposit.

Are children allowed on the boat?Yes, children are welcome, as long as they are accompanied by an adult. Children 13 and under are required to wear a Personal Flotation Device (PFD) life vest/jacket at all times.

Are food and beverages provided? Can I bring my own?Feel free to bring your own food and drinks with the exception of red wine and red juice (cranberry juice, red fruit punch, etc.). You should bring aboard your own ice chest. There is ice available to purchase at the store on the dock.

Can we smoke aboard the vessel?No smoking allowed. Just below your seats are gallons of fuel and we want to keep the boat nice for a long time to come (burn holes are hard to repair). Feel free to vape responsibly.

Can we bring alcohol aboard?Guests 21 and over are welcome to bring and drink whatever you like, please drink responsibly. ABSOLUTELY NO RED WINE OR RED JUICE. (Cranberry juice, red fruit punch, etc.). The driver of the boat rental should not drink any alcoholic beverages or do anything that will impair their judgement and ability to drive the boat!

Can I bring my own music?We encourage that you bring your choice of music that you can connect to the sound system via Bluetooth. This will only make your boat rental that much more enjoyable.

What if I'm late returning the boat and my rental time has expired?If you are late returning the boat you will be charged $50 for every 15 minutes the boat is not at the dock - NO EXCEPTIONS

May I trailer the boat to another location?No boat may be trailered to another location.

Do I need to know how to swim?We require that all kayak and paddleboard renters know how to swim. Keep in mind that this is a water sport, so you should expect to get wet. You have the potential of falling into the water so you should have the ability to swim. PFDs (Personal Flotation Devices or Life Jackets) should be worn at all times. For the Electric Hydrobikes, you do NOT need to know how to swim as they are the most stable of the group.

What is the minimum age to rent an Electric Hydrobike?You must be 18+ to rent an Electric Hydrobike. Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult/guardian. Most children ages 8 and up are able to ride themselves, as long as they are able to reach the platform and use the handlebar controls for the motor.

Electric Hydrobikes, how stable are they?Electric Hydrobikes are very stable and virtually unsinkable. It will not tip over when the rider is standing or sitting on the side-deck, but you must balance the weight. It's also stable in high waves and swells.

Is there a weight limit?Electric Hydrobikes- 300 lbs; Kayak (single) - 250 lbs; Kayak (tandem) - 400 lbs; SUP-200 lbs.

Can we smoke aboard the Hydrobikes, Kayaks or SUPs?No smoking is allowed. We want to keep these items nice for a long time to come. Burn holes are hard to repair, especially on plastic. Feel free to vape responsibly and at your own risk.

Can I bring a cooler?We do allow coolers on our Kayaks that are within a reasonable size. A small 6 pack sized cooler is fine. No full-sized coolers or any cooler or other objects that can possibly interfere with the normal/safe operation of the craft due to its size or weight are allowed. We do not allow coolers on Stand-up Paddleboards at all. The Hydrobikes are equipped with 2 cup holders located on the front storage console.

Can we fish?Fishing is allowed from our Hydrobikes, Coconut Boats, and Pontoon boats. NO fishing on our Kayaks or SUPs. Please be sure to have a valid CA Fishing License present.
